It’s finally happening
I’m going through the two 10x20 storages full of 914 parts

9/17-9/18 located in Los Angeles

Transferring everything from milk crates to boxes so we can in theory sell everything in 1 lot.

Each crate is being placed onto a photo station where we will take 2/3 pics of each crate. Then we will label and number the Lot/Box to match the picture.

Some crates have parts that all go to each other in an assembly so it will make things more helpful for restores. The rest of the crates are already packed in in Individual form.

Some Things will be pulled out as they belong to cars and or customers pre-orders.

911 pieces are removed for the most part

As for cost will determine it when we have all the crates accounted for as I never fully went through any of this.

We should have everything boxed up tomorrow and somewhat
Cataloged. We have 120 milk crates full of parts + lots of big tubs and cardboard boxes that we are going through

I want to sell it all in 1 lot

What you see here is only the “small stuff”
I have about 20+ transmissions
And tons of other big stuff

We are tossing lots of things into the garbage that is garbage and compression what we have

Great opportunity for someone who wants to restore a 914 and or a business

Finally made it!

With only 100% cylinder heads left to photograph, the Lot is 99% photographed, organized and packed.


Please note almost everything is covered in concrete dust from these photos
Anything that was trashed or questionable was tossed in the garbage

Have 2 body kits and a couple of bumpers
Snuck in some v8 part at aren't included in the Lot.
Now I need to get a value for it all

Yep. That's the problem with 914 parts, cost more to store than their value. I would have cherry picked the good stuff and put a free sign on the rest.

Curious if you ran across any VPC A/C parts (this would have been one of two dealer installed A/C systems for the 914...VPC was the version manufactured by VW). I have retrofitted a VPC unit to my 914-6 and am looking for "back up" spare parts, particularly the "squirrel cage" fans installed in the under dash vent system and the longer one installed in the front condenser box.
