part out 914/6
 

I am looking to part out a 914/6.
Just checking to see if there is enough interest in enough of the parts
before I start taking it apart.
chassis is rusty but not terminal.
I just don't have the time or energy to work on this car.

some of the parts available will be:

excellent heat exchangers
oil tank and lines
engine complete with carbs and flywheel
transmission
suspension and brakes
guages
all interior pieces (fair to good condition)
doors and decklids
brightwork trim (usable but not good for a nice car)
jack, top, windshield
engine cover with trim and logo script
rocker panels
plus all the misc. bits
possible cuts of the body where usable


pictures tomorrow. if enough interest I will start pulling it apart and listing
each item as it comes off the car.

What area are you located?

Wow - these are rare enough (assuming a real six) that I wish you would post pictures in the classifieds to see if you can sell the whole car for someone to complete before it is taken apart. Hate to see another one of these bite the dust.

I'd be interested in the heat exchangers, the rear hubs and the engine tin for a 914-6 conversion I'm going to do.

I agree, try and sell the whole car to someone that will restore it first.

If you are going to part this 6 out and then cut up the shell, I'd be interested in the complete lower outside firewall that includes the complete engine/motor mount. PM price if interested in cutting and selling. Pictures of this area would be nice!

Interested in oil lines, and engine mount if it must be cut up.

But please tell us the VIN and engine numbers so we can check if this is a numbers matching car before you start cutting it up! I'm sure you will get more for it complete if it is.

Pm on a few parts

I PM'd a few days ago about the steering wheel parts including turn signal housing and switches and the ignition key components for the /6.
