WTB ~ NOS 914-6 Headlamp, Hazard and Fog Lamps Switches (1970-71)

In an effort to complete my factory 914-6 to GT spec using nothing less than NOS parts, I'm hoping to also find all the dash knobs and switches.

If you can help with these parts, please email me directly at AJSERRANO at MSN dot COM

THANKS!

UPDATE: Now only missing and LQQing for the OEM NOS 914-6 Headlight Switch (pn 914.613.414.10) and the small round plastic cover with the "Headlamp Logo", the piece that's inserted in the rubber knob. Also looking for the small threaded aluminum collar that holds the switch assembly in place.

This is amazing! Steve Gaglione made a personal contribution to my GT project. This is completly unexpected, but out of nowhere, the correct 914 HELLA Fog Light Switch just show up in the mail!

Thank you STEVE!!!!

PS: Still looking for two more switches; the HELLA Driving Lamps and 4-Way Hazard

Yes, and I still can't get over it! Steve Gaglione just gave that to me. Talk about generosity...

I found this interesting knob and bezel with only a 'hazard triangle logo', no other text or VW symbol.

Does anyone know which model and year this particular red bezel was used in? I really like the plain-look of the symbol...

I'm trying to confirm the year/model this particular color Fog Lamp Switch was introduced, it is amber and not green. Is this the Euro version, not the US?

BTW, the p/n is exactly the same (914.613.030.10) as the Green NOS, OEM Fog Lamp I received from Gaglione...

Is it possible the bezel symbol of the Green lamp switch was originally intended for the "auxiliary clear driving lamps" found behind the bumper
while the slightly different bezel symbol of the Orange switch was intented to control additionally installed 'fog lamps'?

Lamps installed on top of hood, or at around the bumpers. Just some thoughts...

PS: It appears as if this thread is now headed into some sort of 'Technical 914 Fog Switch Reference', not a WTB a OEM NOS Headlight Switch ad...

Amber Switch

The green one is correct for you. The amber one is for 73-76. Same part number just different insets. Flasher knob with the triangle is the same as the early beetle one. The 4way flasher switch in the 914 was sourced from the VW 411. There is two versions of it.

Thank you for the details.

Below is a photo of several '4-Way Hazard' knobs and bezels showing the diferent variations available and used by VW and Porsche cars over the years. I particularly like the one with with only the 'Hazard Symbol', not correct for a 914-6 GT, but I like the simplicity of it.

...and a photo I took today of my two NOS Fog Lamp switches.

The Orange Bezel Switch I won on eBay a few days ago.

Hopefully I will eventually find an NOS 914-6 Headlamp Switch to upgrade my switches all to new.

I located and by mistake purchased an "NOS" 914 Head Lamp Switch for the model year 1972-76 cars. The p/n is 914.613.414.15

For reference, I'm posted these photos of the switch used in the 914-4 cylinder cars (1972-76).

This photo shows the part number...

The switch did not come with the threaded collar, I'm again looking for "NOS", I have used...

Here is the new switch with the rubber knob installed

This is an NOS rubber knob Glenn Stazak sent me. Perfect!
