Hi Jim, your project looks like you're really doing a great job at reproducing the 914-6 GT. I hate to say this, but the 914-6 GT front and rear deck lids is one of the most prominent and identifying features of the factory 914-6 GT cars. You can't afford NOT to afford them!

Nice project! Did you start a thread somewhere???

Your website has been a huge motivator for me - I have wanted build a 914/6 GT for a long time. The Lufthansa car is sort of what I am after.

Holy Crap! This is really getting anoying!

Everyone else's 914-6 GT project I see is already painted and nearly in the final trim stage. My car still sits in the rotisserie waiting. I need to stop buying rare Porsche race parts and spend that money in my car.

Looking very nice Jim! You really, really a set of the GT trunk lids!

Thanks for the photos

Armando

Armando, you are doing a very detailed, correct build with hard-to-find-and-expensive parts. I have been able to find only a few GT parts. I still have a lot of work to build the bolt in roof tube structure, oil lines and such. Let me go see if I can gather up some money for your lids....

Jim
