Hi, I am unfamiliar with these, are these Hella TN4, or some modern aftermarket light put into the fog housing? Not to offend, but there are Pilots with H-3 bulbs, the brackets, switch, some screws or whatnot for 99 USD on Ebay. I don't understand what your lights are.
I believe that the OEM stuff all had Frenel lenses of one sort or another. But I am often wrong. I might have a use for these lights but I don't understand what they are. Perhaps they are bumper mounted 911 lights, which would be useful too? But, I think the lenses are not vintage but very new. You are selling something called a TTG light for 911, and a fog light with a vintage looking lens for a 914….all of them are the same housing? Or you found some large trove of housings somewhere which you are restoring? Is this some sort of off-road light, as 100w seems higher than what I see selling as your basic, generic "driving light"? Is this KC Hilite? And then somehow inserted into some vintage housing or something? How would one do that while maintaining seal integrity on the lens/reflector edge? Is this PIAA? They have a really trick light swappable between Fog and Driving, which is attractive to me but I have not done any close examination of them. I'm sorry for all the questions but I have not gotten to the "find great lights to put in my 916 front valence" part of the project yet. And of course, all Good Things should be bought. If this is something I cannot easily replicate, then I am very interested. Please let me know. PS are you the person that made my 914GT grille????? That I bought like 10 years ago???? |
