Yes. There is a left and right.

Sorry forgot to post the price. It is $50. It is the left (driver's side). Yes they can used on either side by flipping over the plastic slider cam. Bill

Can someone expand on this point a bit? I'm looking at my Left and Right door handles, and they seem to me to be completely identical - even the plastic slider. Is there a "cam" that I'm missing?

Yup, that's it - so there's really no way to swap them by "flipping over the plastic slider cam". However, it does look like I could take the moving metal handle bit off a Right side and put it on a Left side - it's the main body that's side-specific.(?)
