FS: Custom Flat tow bracket
 

OK not a used part but what the hey.
Made specifically for the Porsche 914 by 914Werke, this is a heavy duty steel angle cross bar design rather than a flat bar found on previous product available.
It provides key advantages: 1st. Strength. 2nd. Geometry. 3rd. Convenience!
The new cross bar allows the pin lynch points to be about 1" lower now (while improving strength).
Because its pin mounting location are slightly lower, it allows for use with "LE" (Limited Edition) style fiberglass spoilers without their removal (with properly setup hitch & bar geometry!).
The bracket now has mount points to carry the included bolts & spacers. (Convenience)
A V-style (adjustable) tow bar is recommended so you can fold it up & throw the whole kit in the either trunk!.
The Bracket is made from .375 steel & is relatively light weight.
Lastly it now has additional mount points for chassis safety chains/cables where this was a add on in the past.
