Strange thing happened yesterday:
Was driving along and what looks to be a small serial number sticker(?) slid out of the milage counter on the speedo. Nothing else wrong, but now I have that annoying little sticker (about the size of a dime) sitting there inside my dash - and I can't get to it with the clear plastic that covers the entire cluster there. How annoying! Anyways, is there a way I can (easily) remove just the plastic shield to remove the sticker? The only posts I can find were on removing the entire cluster because of a speedo problem. Do I just remove the screws or is that sucker glued on there? |

Happened to me, just take out the gauge cluster, unscrew the 8 or 9 screws holding the front black plastic and clear plastic, take it out, put it back together, should only take an hour. Thanks

Oh, its a later ('87) car. Sorry.
I can do this without having to remove the guages from behind, right? |
