Installing white faced gauges in my 83 944
Anybody done this yet? If so any tips? How do you get the gauges out?

When it comes to installing your own white gauge faces, first things first......I wouldn't wish that hell on anybody. With that being said, if you have the money, have a professional do the installation. If your low on cash, the job is do-able but, again, a pain in the rear. Do a search for white gauge faces and check out these links.......

These are one of the best sets of instructions that I've seen...
Removing early gauges: http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/elect-06.htm Removing late 944 gauges: http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/elect-07.htm I also have another pdf file that describes in finer detail the process of removing a late 944 (very nice pics to support the instructions).
