924 motor

Hi everyone glad to introduce myself and thanks for accepting my membership.
I have just bought a 924 and before i start its motor i need to know if the spare part marked in red is vital for water flux.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You will be fine with that as it is.

That is the actually the air inlet for the alternator cooling hose. You just find a 2-1/2" or so diameter flexible hose and attach that down to the cooling plate that *should* be on the back of the alternator.

Good luck!
