Radiator compatability
Hello all
Can I install an Automatic transmission radiator in a 5 speed car? Besides the radiator what kind of plugs do I need to close the ports on the radiator? 1984 944 Thanks in advance for any input. |

Are you talking about the ATF radiator for AT, or an engine radiator?

Yes it will work fine. You don't need to plug the auto trans cooler holes, just drain it and it will be OK.
the trans cooler is inside the radiator tank but no engine coolant goes through it, those ports are just for ATF. though you could probably measure the ports and figure what metric size it is. |
