The previous owner of my 94, lowered it, my sticker code (I think) tells me it was not the sport version (originally). How can I tell if it has been changed to the sport version or not, I belive it makes a difference when selecting pads and rotors.

Shouldn't matter as far as Brakes go.
Look at the shocks - the stock non-sport suspension were SACHS\BOGE shocks\struts they are black. Sport suspension was normalli KONI - will be Yellow or Red (usually red) and "updated" stock suspension might have BILSTEIN shocks\struts - they are green. Please, in future posts, indicate what year your car is, Then again, you could have stock suspension with non-stock springs - the possibilities are endless. I would asvise contacting the previous owner and just asking him what was done. AFJuvat
