Progress on the Breather valve
After doing more research, It looks like the PCV valve dosen't come out without dismantelling the block. This means that all I have to backflush and clean it as is. I will try to get most of the nasty stuff out through the top to keep it from going into the oilpan. What should I use to do this? No air compressor, but I do have compressed air and brake cleaner.
Judging from the condition of the oil in the breather, I need do do an oil change, not a problem. At the same time though, can you take the oilpan off of the car from the underside? I would like to clean the mesh thing and get all of the grime that must be in the bottom. Do I drain the oil, strain it, and run it through again until it comes out without stuff? In leu of doing that, what is the best way to flush the oil system? Just do acouple of succesive oil changes? Any advice would be great!
