1986 cv joints
I purchased cv joints from a 1986 on ebay. THEN I thought, "gee, will they fit in my 83?" Does anyone know?

If you bought the whole assy, cv and shaft , then yes.
If not , then the pitch of teeth may be diferent I some how fitted cv joints for an 88 S on my 951 , 86. Had to use a huge hammer and mallet. Next time around I may have to get the complete cv shaft assy.

As long as you have complete assembly, you should be ok (provided of course the ones you bought are not for an automatic) AFJuvat
