Camshaft for 1977 924 2.0L
Hi all I know this would have come up many a time on the forum, but I am new to here so I will ask. I am chasing a performance camshaft for my 2.0 litre. Deleting the injection and putting twin webers on. I have found some from pommy land (link below) but it will cost nearly $1000 (AUD) by the time they are shipped to Australia. Is there any in the states that are good or are there any other Australians on here that know of any in OZ????

There are quite a few 924board members from Aus and OZ. I bought a cam from Catcam in Netherlands and shipping to US was about $55 and was thee days in shipping. Newman in UK has cams also. Elgin in US can do regrinds, but then shimming for valve clearance gets really interesting. On my Elgin regrind I have old Alfa shims to clearance, and a solid bucket follower(ACM Sweden) and a Manly shim upside down on the follower. Some motorcycle shims might fit inside the stock follower-it gets interesting.

Also, read an article about adding Webers and a cam to a 924. Very little power gain, and terrible fuel efficiency.
If you want it faster, use a different lump.
