Where to buy rear hatch frame?

As the post title says... where can I get just the rear hatch frame? I don't need the glass or the spoiler, just the mounting frame.

I would check with a local junkyard. Bare frames don't ship well.

most people cant even give a complete hatch away for free.
so doubtful youd find a frame unless from a smashed window accident car?

+1 what everyone says. I’ve been looking for them for a while to fit my Lexan into as I don’t want to canibalize the good hatch that’s on the car.

Same here, I am planning a project and don't want to cannibalize my hatch. I'm not apposed to getting a complete hatch, I just don't need the glass and spoiler. As far as a junk yard, I honestly never saw a 944 in any I have ever been to.

If you just want the frame, look for a 77 to 82 924. Lots of them in junkyards.

The frame is the same.

Max, as we often say in these threads, if you told us where you reside, maybe one of us might be able to point you in a direction of something we know about locally. John
