U-Toob - AARRRGGHH!

Ohhh…does this irk me big time! This U-Toob fixit-guy…only his schtick is mucho beer guzzling (basically, its “turn a bolt - take a swig”) and supposedly barbecuing, while purporting to provide instruction on 944 camshaft extraction and cam housing cleanup…manages to get the cam bolt off, but then, to extract the camshaft itself, where he should have first securely laid the bottom bearing surface down and then, very carefully, lifted the housing up and off, paying especially close attention to bearing/journal concentricity as things slide by each other - he instead basically shakes the camshaft out! I mean…WTF! Then, while making a big deal of taping off the bottom and end openings of the camshaft housing prior to proceeding to sandblast, completely forgets to re-install the housing’s bolt hole covers! AARRRGGGHHH! Oh…but wait a minute…of course! (duh) by that time he’d polished off a sixpack of Coronas!

What gives with these folks! How can such complete turkeys like this stay in “business?” People like this really piss me off! (thanks, I needed that!)

Yeah, you just have to be selective about that. If there's a bottle of alcohol on the fender, find another video.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

That's why I watch several different sources (if possible) and also read the factory manual, Clark's Garage, etc..
