Help me please

This is a question. My brakes lights were always on. Jiggled the switch above brake pedal and put some electrical tape on it. Next time I started the car, 2 days later, there is an odd clicking noise towards the back of the engine compartment. Almost as if a wire is rubbing on something. The noise is pretty consistant with the fuel injectors if that helps. The thing is that the noise stops when I put any kind of pressure on the brake or clutch pedals. Any Ideas because I need some help.

the breake lights in the rear of teh car or in the dash?

how do you know that the noise is comsistant with the injector? have you ever heard your injector before?

make sure its your brake lights and not your parking lights that come on when you turn your light swith to the first position. .have someone step on the brakes to see if there is a difference in the illumination. check and see if your light relay is working proper;y (if you have one)

let me know what happens

This may not help but the brake light in mine were always on, the bolt that holds the pedel box to the bulkhead were loose, allowing the switch to pass the pedal, everytime i drove i could hear a clicking noise, it turned out that the pedal box was vibrating although it sounded to be coming from somewhere else. Might not help but woth a look
good luck

The connector above the brake pedal is loose. I push the connector in and the brake lights go on when I push on the pedal and go off when I let go. When I'm not holding in the connector the lights are always on regardless of the pedal being pressed or not. I noise has stopped for time being, I jiggled some wires around near under the dash above the pedals. I'm sure it will return. I will look at the bulkhead tommorrow and let you know. Sounds like the samething that is happening to me. Thanks
