It's simply not possible for large manufactures to spend that kind of effort($$$) on a paint job. No one even notices. Its way way cheaper to just leave the orange peel. I'm sure they go to some length to make the orange at an acceptable level but that's it. OMG I'm still laughing. I can barely even type. Someone get me a towel to dry my eyes. I almost pooped my self........... can't stop laughing must stop laughing.

You know the amount of paint applied can be controlled such that blocking a car can still leave an acceptable paint film thickness. Still laughing.

Come on man where's your come back? Nothing about shellac? Nothing about nitrocellulose lacquer? Air assisted airless sprayer? Ge'ez! You give up to easy! BTW I have never shellacked pine anything.
