Strut tower bending
Recently I have noticed that my strut towers have started bending on both sides in between the respective outer 2 13mm bolts - any ideas? I'm wondering what is going on with the chassis and I'm obviously concerned. The problem is so bad that the paint is actually flaking off the strut towers and floating around the engine compartment.
As far as mods, I have yellow Konis (F+R) with 275lb springs in front, Wetmeister adjustable sway bar (F+R), 17inch cup replica with 225/255. I have only autocrossed the car (87 944S) once and I'm guessing that this is when the majority of the damage happened. Anybody have any similar experiences??? Thanks in advance, Erick |

how about a strut tower brace?
i know where you can get a good German-made polished aluminum one for $188.00. cool? Obin |
