931 -79 G31.01 tranny, LSD or not?
Hi there!
We are offered loose 931 -79 transmission that owner says "has LSD as far as he can see". Unfortunately car is scrapped and i don't know options codes for it. Here are some stats: VIN # from a car that it came from :924 94 01738 tranny casing mould #: MGK 931 301 301 OR transmission #: 31 10 11017 48 Can someone tell me if it has LSD or not? Is there any easy way of checking it on loose transmission? I was thinking of asking him to taka flanges between the hands and try to turn them in oposite directions. If it's hard/impossible, there is LSD inbetween, otherwise it's open diff...correct? Thanx for all help. Cheers!
