weird 944 cold running problem

We have an early 84 944 in our shop that starts great and within 1-3 minutes of driving, begins to feel like you are driving thru mud. Lots of resistance with sluggish throttle response from idle thru 3200 rpm. After 3200 rpm, it runs okay- not perfect, but okay. Now 5 minutes into warm up, the symptoms disappear and the car runs perfect! Parts replaced so far: throttle switch, temp sensor for the injection, air flapper box. Fuel pressure okay, secondary okay, oxy sensor new, reference sensor new, coil new.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave
