Me too lol. I will be doing some driving after I get the Lights all knocked out, Possibly next week. I do have a larger Condenser to adapt in if the current one can not keep up. DId see some of your swap stuff. it is pretty cool. hopefully this works out and is useful to you as well.

Seems like a lot of fabrication just to add an electric AC compressor. Why not use a replacement belt driven compressor? What advantage does this have?

Overall, I like to have fun and do stuff a bit bonkers. Also this was needed to be set up and tested on one of my running 944s so I could confirm it would be worth it to use in my Porsche 924 I am swapping an Audi V8 into, which has no room for a belt driven compressor, barely has room for an Alternator. A major advantage is there is no drag on the engine from the compressor. It is hard to tell the all electric one is even causing a load on the Alternator. There are a few endurance racers who have ran these compressors on their cars. Another is this electric compressor weighs less then a factory belt driven compressor. Not an advantage, but it is kind of cool.

Full AC when sitting at a stoplight in PHX at 117F.

My early car NEVER cut it in summer in PHX, even when new. NOT EVER.

Might be good for summers in the Black Forest though.

I spent 5 years in the Mojave desert near death valley, Even my Late model AC struggled. I am looking forward to the middle of summer up here in the Sacramento area to see how this All electric compressor handles it.
