K&N air filter question
Hey when i put in my K&N tomorrow...is it true that if i take the top of the air box off it will be an air silencer....sort of like intake? because thats what my cousin read online for his 2000 mustang....it said that it will breathe better

I agree too. Your engine will realize an air CFM increase with the K&N and keep the filter housing and the duct work. Cooler air means air that is more dense and that is good for performance.

Keep the air intake system INTACT!!! This is not a 5.0 Mustang or a souped up Toyota. Its engineered for the air flow meter to work on certain air volumes and trying to hop it up with the top of the air filter cover up will screw it up........make sure you clean that K&N and re-oil often if you live in a city or drive on dusty roads.
