No voltage to air flow meter
My 1988 924s is not getting any voltage to the air flow meter. Does anybody have any suggestions as to why?

Assuming it is the same as the 944 then you should be getting 5v from the DME. Either bad output from DME or a broken wire.

Thanks dme. It is the same as the early 944 and it supposed to get 12v. I get nothing. But the car still runs.

I can't understand how it can run without measuring the incoming air. You using the test procedure from Clarks?

That's the best and cheapest outcome possible! Beats having a bad DME, AFM, or wiring.
