What is this hole in the block
 

Just out of curiosity what is this hole. It’s just behind the oil air separator. Watched a video on YouTube of someone that just took an engine out and nothing was there. It’s a deep hole but just bottoms out doesn’t go anywhere. Maybe a hole to hold the engine block during manufacturing?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1665012258.jpg
