After about 1,000 miles of driving, the idle has nicely settled into the 1,000 rpm range almost all the time.

Looks like car just needed to be driven - and it drives wonderfully. Over 100 miles in super-twisty roads just east of Virginia mountains and had a ball. Car drives & handles like new.

Am I a happy 944 owner or what?
