Strickly for your amusement only

OK, for your amusement only, do not buy these and stick to your 924/944!

After I saw the stick on brake vents on the Ford Probe, I went searching on the net and sure enough... These folks also show up under magnetic signs, but when I looked all they had were magnetic flames... (I thought flames when out in the 50's???)

In all honesty, from a distance they looked real, but as I was passing him, there was no doubt they were stickon...

P.S. If your interested in adding a third brake light (Pelican sells it), I have additional pictures of how it looks from the inside online too.

AWESOME, I ordered 6!

Two for the front, and four for the rear, since, umm, there's more power in the rear or something...

John, is your '83 a Euro model? I noticed the washers on the bumpers. BTW it looks awful clean for an 83!

Well, interesting question. Mine is a confused model. It's titled in Illinois as a 1983 944S (yet we all know they didn't make S models in 1983). From going thru the carfax report and the fact that I have relatively recent front fenders, a newer, but not new styled waterpump, and a newer radiator, and evidence of a major overheating (discolored distributer mounting) we speculate that my car was in a pretty good fender bender around 1986 (it changed hands twice that year too). Not sure how they got it titled as a S however as it's definately a 8 valve motor (rebuilt in the last 3 months at great cost!). The car has a clean title, and I suspect that when the accident occurred the value of the car was still sufficent to have a full, professional repair done.

It was a risk buying it as I had no records at all, and in the end, having to rebuild the motor after a year has pinched my pocket, but it's still a fun car (when it's behaving)
