Where can I get a hood scoop seal?

Many dead ends on this one. Other than making one any leads?

I found this place locally and they can get a pretty nice variety of profiles.

perhaps there is a company like that in California, but I found such suppliers a bit hard to contact or hard to find.

If you know what the seal looks like Id try to send them a pic or a drawing and see if they may be able to help.

I needed some flat rubber and found they had it but they also had a tub of little samples of extrusions on the counter. Their main focus is on pumps, but they also carry different rubber profiles. I found them nice to deal with.

Find some thin 1/8" foam with an adhesive backing, trace and cut out. Stick the adhesive side to the scoop so the foam rests on the hood surface. Secure the scoop using the hardware provided. If there is no hardware then use double sided adhesive foam tape instead.

like house insulation some types dont absorb water. I you use foam tape I'd check that it can't retain water , in other words, that it is closed cell.

Have you tried Mittelmotor?

The have some interesting 924 racing parts. I've emailed them looking for various parts and someone replied fairly quickly in English. The prices and shipping costs are eye popping.

info@mittelmotor.de

They even have a complete 924 GTS engine if you need one.

Another possible lead...Thomas at werk924. https://werk924.com/ info@werk924.com He helped me source some 924 parts that I couldn't find elsewhere.

Good luck.
