924s sunroof switch wiring

Hi All

I was a bit aggressive in removing my sunroof switch to accommodate my newly rebuilt Blaupunkt Reno radio and I think I might have ripped out a wire from the sunroof switch.

See the image I've attached. I am pretty sure that the black/yellow wire (circled in red) is supposed to be connected to the same connector as the black wire.

Can anyone confirm this?

Currently when I press the switch it makes a noise but the sunroof lifters won't activate.

How do these connectors work? How can I loosen them to insert the wire that I ripped out?

Thank you all for your help.

The black/yellow wire connects to the grey/green wire. I advise a soldered junction.

Brilliant!

I will solder them together and let you know how I make out.

Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

So I soldered the black/yellow to the grey/green.

The sunroof lifters will only retract they will not extend.

Any thoughts?

So . . .

I had no idea there was a microswitch between the sun visors.

I pressed it and the switch worked fine.

Thank you for your help.
