951 cat delete pipe available?

Are there any vendors supplying catalytic converter delete " test pipe " ? I found one for sale for over $1K, which seems nuts for a hollow pipe with two flanges on each end. To be clear, I'm looking for one for a 944 turbo. Thanks!

Funny, I was searching for the same for my S2 today. Found nothing but for the 951. Seems silly to sell a polished pipe no one will ever see.......... I'd like to remove mine as the 02 sensor looks to be in the headers, and I'd like a reasonable and bolt on solution for more noise, and get the gains from less backpressure.

I have one, a stock 951 cat converter that has been gutted.

I'm near Poughkeepsie, NY... PM me for details...

I have a Burch "test pipe" pipe for a Turbo in Boulder, CO. Dunno about shipping it though, might cost too much to be worthwhile.

You should be able to get just a piece of pipe that works at any muffler shop.

I remember having a car where it fell apart and started rattling. we took it out and put a rod down inside and the honeycomb porcelain stuff was easy to just knock to bits. put it back empty.
if it's the result of a theft , that might be different. we have seen a lot of that near me. they sell for lots on the used market, because of the platinum. brave drug addicts with battery angle grinders.

When I got my 944 at the factory back in late '83, we picked up a straight pipe. I guess we thought someday we would use it. Never did and I am certainly willing to part with it. Shipping will be a bit heavy. I am in NW Florida. I have a couple pics available, but I do not know how to post a pic on this site.. The porsche factory sticker, although still there, is impossible to read. But for a 50 year old part it still looks good. Sort of!
If anyone wants it, let me know. Price won't be crazy considering the cost of the shipping.
