Question (bad ground ? ) gauges needles jumps !

Please help me with this:

My temp gauge some times read wrong lot more, like in cold starting reads 3/4 of temp. (only some times, major of time is correct)

I had the same problem on my 81 924 I cleaned the connector that attaches to the guage cluster and now the guage reads steady.

Clean and tighten the connections to the fuel sender in the back hatch floor. I found these connections corroded and greatly effected the fuel gauge reading and stability.

I found an air bubble in mine. Burped the system and the needle stays steady.
