Any Help Needed. Mounting 944 S2 Spoiler to 944

I'm trying to Mount a 944 S2 Rear Bridge Spoiler to a 1986 944 N/A. I have all the pieces but none of the harware and no diagrams or instructions. The problem really is figuring out how to mount the rear rubber strip. Is it necessary? I can't decide if I need to drill new holes just for the rubber strip or somehow attach it to the mounting points between the main wing and the side strips. Anyone have advise is this area? Thanks for your time.

I recently purchased a rear valence on Ebay, and I am attempting the same installation on my 84 944 na. I went to Home Depot to get the metric-sized nuts and bolts, but they don't stock them. Finally found them at a specialty automotive parts store. The next step is to get the matching Guards Red paint from paintscratch.com. Here are the installation instructions and some reference pics from my 86 951:

Looks like I may have posted an incorrect reply.....you were asking about the S2 wing....not the lower rear valence...

I'd better get some sleep!

i have had good luck finding metric bolts at Lowe's. they carry more than home depot or wal mart

Thanks for the pics...too bad you're right, they're the wrong part. I have already done that installation as well. A breeze in comparison to what this is doing. That rear hatch it a headache. Right now my car looks like a 924 on steroids. I had to reattach the locking pins so I could drive to school sans-spoiler.

Oh man I wish. I've been to that site, the info on the gasket part of the install is rather concise, not altogether helpful. But it's very similar. They don't use the same kind of mounting for the lower spoiler section either, there is no drilling involved with the factory piece. Oh so Close! Thanks anyway.

I went back and printed a copy of that page, the larger images helped, I think I am goign to reuse the old gasket from the first wing and forget about this big new one that doesn't seem to fit really...anywhere. Thanks for all the help, let you know if it works out.
