Question Handbrake parts question 944 1985.5

Hello all,

New owner of a 944 1985.5 and new to Porsche forums.
I'm looking to repair the whole handbrake system since everything currently in place is rusted. I tried removing the old turnbuckle hoping that I could re-use the whole handbrake cable but it seems too seized-up in the rust, even jigaloo couldn't do anything.
Since my model is a 1985.5, do I need to get all the parts compatible with the 1986?
https://www.eurospares.co.uk/ seems to skip the 1985 model so I'm really not sure which part numbers to choose from.
The rusted turnbuckle seems longer than the replacement part that I found at the pelican parts online store. Will this cause a problem if the replacement part is shorter?
The site couldn't confirm if the hand brake cable in the cart is compatible with 1985.5.
