Oil Pressure sending unit - thread size
 

I'm trying to hook up an oil pressure gauge to the location where the oil pressure sending unit is located. I am trying to verify if I have a real pressure problem or in its the sender.

Can anyone confirm the thread type to fit the hole as of course all american gauges are NPT. It looks like an 18 mm x 1.5 thread.
