Be ye not aware that I lust also for thee 944S2/968 that is not forcefully inducted. If mine finances were not painfully tested I would no doubt purchase said steed and a great bounty would be brought to this stable.

"The irony is, my friend, that your original sentence was still grammatically correct,"

No it wasn't. Think COMMA...

My old 86 951 (that ae1969 now owns) ran 13.6 at 109mph at Carlsbad, CA at 90 degrees on 91 octance. Mideastmafia (Sean) was there to witness it. I ran two runs back-back and nearly identical. That car had some nice mods (Turbo+MAF) but was a pig until the boost hit.

My current 88 Turbo S should run high 12s on the stock 26/8 turbo and VAF when I'm done with it. I'd be willing to bet that Ahmet's tweaked 86 would run similar. My car will need a rebuild first though. I've gotten into the computers and managed a few tricks for both the DME and KLR which should prove pretty interesting for 0-60 and the 1/4 mile. I'll keep you all posted.

in top speeds ive gotten slightly over 140mph in mine, but mines a light weight addition 88 924s, all i have extra is a k&n air filter. ive gotten up to this speed racing a BMW X5 suv on I95 didnt attempt to go faster because i was winning and was afraid of getting arrested...

(happened during 2 occations 1 being last night and both times ive had other people in the car... oddly enough both times against the X5 one blue the other silver...)

Asking if you should replace that timing belt is like asking if you should re-use a condom that may have in hole in it with a hooker.

That sounds like a mean little 924! Those babies are very hard to find. My first 924/944 was an 87 924S without any of those special options.

my '84 came with original owner's manual and has acceleration/ torque/ hp graphs in back (instead of cupholder instructions found in lesser cars)

they may be not be true but pretty cool

says a lot about manf's intent for these cars
