Pitfalls - 1992/4 968 Cab??

I hang out over on the 911 Forum since I have an 83 SC, However, we are now considering purchasing a 968 cab for a daily driver. (The 83SC retains its family position as the DE car!). Interested to hear about pitfalls and/or your experiences with say 1992/1994 model years. Of course we would have a Pre-Purchase inspection by qualified shop.

Thanks in advance

Judging by the fact that you do DEs, I'm guessing you're looking for a pretty firmly suspended front engined car.

I'd recommend driving a 968 Club Sport, or an M030 equipped car. It'll change the way you look at driving street cars! No kidding there!

However, if you have to have an open top, the 944 S2 convertible isn't a bad car to own. A 968 will likely cost a lot more, worth it? Depends on how much $ you have.

Go to http://www.968.net and ask there. There aren't too many 968 owners on the BBS here at Pelican, so anything we tell you will likely be a guess http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/wink.gif
