Rim Identification..common down guys!
Hey guys...I need your help. I have some form of aftermarket 3 piece rims on my turbo. They have no brand on them...and no porsche triangle. On the back they say made in Japan. Well one of my rims has craked through a spoke...and i need to find a new centerpiece. Can anyone help identify these rims and where i might find them/how much? Any ideas what i might search for on yahoo or something?

What size are those? I Had a 16 3 piece wheel exactly like that one. I have no idea who makes/made them. I sold it. The guy I sold it to when he got it realized that it wasnt correct. If the wheel your trying to replace is a 16x7 23mm offset then i can try to find his email.

Unfortunately they are 17x9.25's....but perhaps out of PURE LUCK...the centerpeice would be the same size....anyone think this is possible? a 1 and 17" rim using the same size center? This sucks trying to find a center. If it is the same...I'd pay money for it!

I thought most of the replica wheel makers took pride in being able to use factory Porsche centers? Worth a try at least, right?
Only real difference I'd see, is that the standard Porsche centers are Silver painted, where as you need a polished one. But that's just a little elbow grease. Otherwise, just try out the old blanket ebaymotors search for 'porsche wheels', I seem to remember seeing a set similar to those a while back.
