Post 951 questions from an NA owner

What is the factory boost setting for a 951 in bars?

Another question is what would be the best aftermarket turbo to run on the street in the state of CA with the same boost as the factory? K-27? K-29S?? I'd like to hear some of your thoughts escpecially 951 owners.

I know this seems odd coming from an NA owner but I am thinking of trading my car in for 951 i saw in the trader. thanks for reading.

Personally, I prefer the Garret-type turbos. Mine comes on full boost at 3000 rpm, includes the #8 hot side and is supposed to be good for 350-380 at the wheels.

don't you mean about .9 bar? since 1 bar =14.7 psi, 1.8 bar would make factory boost at 26 psi. as i understand it, when our guage reads "2" under full boost it means 1 bar.

1.8 bar seems way too high... 0.9 bar seems a lil more right.

1.8 bars absolute is 0.8 bars gauge. Absolute pressure is refrenceing 0 bar as a complete vacuum so atmosheric pressure is 1 bar unlike guage pressure that refrences atmoshperic pressure as 0 bar.
