I rewired the acceleration enrichment control unit and swaped out the three units I have. There wasnt much change. I adjusted the TPS and now it runs ok. I am still having a problem with my mixture running really lean durring the throttle midrange. At light throttle or full throttle the mixture richens up, but it leans out completly in the midrange. I have had to do some wrenching on the other family cars 3 cooling fan motors (what are the odds) and some flaky wiring to one blower motor. Thats kept me pretty bussy lately but I plan on putting some time into the 924 this week.

Roger, if you need any "impossible to find" parts for your 924, let me know. I have a complete 81 for parts.

Thanks Wolf1 I am looking for some parts. I will send you a PM in a week or so. I have to take a trip to Jacksonville soon (maybe I will stop off and visit AF) after I get back I will make up a list. The offer is greatly appreciated.

I did a CIS pressure test and the cold control pressure was .1 bar low, but the hot control pressure was 4 bar. The spec is 3.4-3.8 bar. I think the high control pressure is causing the lean mixture at mid throttle.

I ended up removing the intake today. I installed an Audi WUR and the pressures are good. The cold pressure is about .1 bar to low but so was the old unit. The hot pressure was right on at 3.6 bar.

I am using a WUR from an 83-85 euro Audi Quartto. If my research is correct Porsche went to EFI in 83 but Audi continued to use CIS untill 88. I am hoping that Audi made some improvements in those 5 years. The Audi WUR has two vacuum ports. They appear to adjust the control pressure based on intake and manifold vs intake vacuum. I still have not plumed the vacuum lines. I was thinking about using the pluming for the decel valve.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
