Here is my 87 944S/968 conversion in the very rare factory Summer yellow. I did modify the picture to give it an artsy look,

nice car speedgrrl, I gotta get to the freakin track!
|
Unfortunately, since I'm 17, I can only do POC DE's, b/c with PCA you have to be 18. Sam, your car looks awesome! A friend of mine is looking for some rims, like the ones you have, for me for my birthday. Where did you get that rear spoiler?
|
wow. sam's car is what i want my 951 to look like one day. nothing more, nothing less.
i will post pictures of my car when i get back to school monday (when i can take some new ones) speed grrl, your car looks nice too. hows it set up? |
It has a stock 944 motor in it...it will run "I" stock class in PCA Club Racing, when we actually start racing it. We lowered it an inch, put coil-overs with 400 pound springs on the front and 30mm torsion bars on the rear, and a custom cold air intake with a K&N. It handles great and runs great....just needs more horses!!
|
Hey Red Rocket! (Sam)
That is one of the cleanest 944's i've seen. [or if you want to get all technical with labels.. 951] Drive it safe now. lol. http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/.../gaapslaap.gif |
well. i found some pictures on this computer. theses are old though - like February. (the car looks a little better now)
BTW, that woman in the car is my mom, not me. http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/corner.jpg http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/front1.jpg http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/inside.jpg http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/seats.jpg http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/side.jpg (and ls1camaro.net is the only place i could find free hosting that i knew of - trust me, i'm not a domestic kinda' guy) |

the 951s (944s in general) are some of the best looking cars ever produced, hands down. and the submissions here prove it. keep 'em coming!
|
CJ, that's pretty cool to have an '83 with only 40k miles. A real time warp, keep it nice! (I'm sure you will)
perfecto, nice wheels, never seen chromed pds before. A very sharp 951 all round, but then I'm a sucker for guards red  http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/96NS802239_FRONT2.JPG |
