Porsche repair labor rates
I take my 944 to a local Porsche only repair shop, the labor rate there is $69/hour.
I was wondering what other Porsche only places charge around the country for labor. |

I went to 2 different places. One charged 60, the other 50, this is in Longwood, FL (right outside of downtown Orlando)

Sunset Porsche-Beaverton, Oregon. I don't know their rates, but they wanted to charge me $85.00 for an oil change. So $60.00 an hour would be a safe bet.

Chicago - $75 to $85 per hour depending on
the shop. If someone knows a good shop with a cheaper rate let me know! |

Sewickley Audi-Porsche (Pittsburgh area) is $62.00 per hour and that is considered outrageous around here!
After all, this is the land of renting an ENTIRE house for $535.00/mo

$535 will get you a run-down studio apartment in Seattle, which leaves your pride and joy parked on the street

I live in Pottsville about 45min-1 hour North of Reading, PA. stuff here is dirt cheap, but the average pay here is like 6.50 an hour, and we cant find parts, so when you calculate finding parts and getting them and labor. then you got your 60-80 per hour labor

porsche only =75$/hr. more inventory and knowledge than the local porsche dealer or anyone else in the area. the shop owner(or me) works on your car, not some $10 @ hour kid. 30 years experience exclusively with porsches and member of the better business bureau in good standing. active in PCA club racing. a competant porsche mechanic is worth whatever he wants to charge.
