transmission whine
My 87na seems to have developed a whine in the trans. It is pretty quiet, hard to hear over the noise of the car. It happens in all gears if the car is moving but goes away with the clutch in. I figure it trans will have to go soon (160K miles) but was wondering if others had experience on how long it might last... the new DME hurt the budget a tad!

Mine has been whining for a little over a year in 3rd gear. No problems yet. No change in whine.
