i know what you mean ch944. When my friends dad let me drive his 89 vette the 200 miles to Galveston at first i was excited, then dissapointed. I dont know if its still that way but porsche was way ahead of the vette in the 80s. When i got back i gave the 944 a pat on the dash and drove home happy.

You couldn't have said it any better pedro951. Always wanted one and as I was driving it home I was very disappointed. What a cheap piece of **** came to mind. This was on a Friday, bye Monday a buddy gave me $1k deposit. The car was in excellent shape and only $7k private sale. Never sold the porsche.
