After reading posts concerning ignitions both here and on Rennlist, I finally broke down and bought a MSD 6A and Blaster Coil from Jegs (very fast service) for a total of $170 with 3-day delivery.
I'll report how they work on my 951, though I doubt there will be much improvement. Bascially, all I'm looking to do is open the gaps in the plugs. I'm currently having issues running 18-19 psi on pump gas (91 now), and with any luck this will help. ------------------ Erick 86 951 http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/pmpre/pm.cgi?action=display&login=aka_951 |

The 6A will perform much better if you change
the plug wires as well. Get some MSD wire & perform some DIY. It's cheap & good. Regards to connectors, use something that does not have a resister inside like the oem beru's. |

Yes, I would for sure put some Magnecor wires on, too. Those are only about $67 from the aftermarket guys for the good 8.5mm wires. Not sure what the 10mm wires go for, probably 10 bucks more. only difference is insulation thickness.
I am dreaming of a direct fire system and hoping a bunch of TEC IIs go up for sale on E-Bay once Electromotive puts out the TEC 3.

Thanks for the tips. I've been using magnercore's exclusively on my cars for the last 2 years. They are execellent plug wires that have an unbeatable price.
