It's now officially Christmas! In the UK at least - Americans have at least five hours to wait before Santa turns up.

Have a good one and stay safe.

Have you ever tasted their food?
Well, "taste" is really not the word.
They ARE suffering!

Still I wonder how their secret agents managed to sneak into central Washington state and infect that one cow.

Merry Christmas to all !!!

I would like to say to everyone that this board has been totally helpfull during my initial exposure to the 944 world. People have been very kind and informative, even on stupid questions from me as a newbie to p-cars.
I look forward to many future years and many more p-car's and could not ask for a better bunch of people for an online community.

Don

My Christmas sucked. I spent a bloody fortune and agonized over each and every present. In return I got back unimaginative bottles of liquor - none of which I would have purchased by choice. My mum gave me an electric toothbrush wow, er ... thanks.

Kind of ironic actually. I had a mince pie on Christmas Day (I hate them but my mum made them so I was obliged to at least try one). A tiny seed got jammed in between my teeth and gum. Drove me mad trying to dislodge it and I ***** you not when I say that I spent the whole of Christmas afternoon and the following day trying to pick that fukcing thing out with tooth picks, descalers, floss etc etc.

Struggling with a mirror balanced precariously on my lap, a dental mirror in my gob and a tooth pick frantically prying away my gum was a whole bunch of fun. Eventually the mirror fell off my lap and shattered on the floor - so that's me fukced for the next seven years. Shortly after that the tooth pick slipped and snapped a splinter in my gum alongside that fukcing seed. Oh, great.

Spent Boxing day evening sitting in casualty with abusive drunks and pub brawlers. Why nurses don't turn these yobs away I dunno.

So the nurse eventually gets to me and asks me what's up. I tell her - feeling like a total dork. She gets a metal probe and pulls my gum away from my tooth and says I've stripped all the skin down to the bone. Great. She washes it out with a saline solution (which lemme tell you really smarts when it splashes against all those exposed nerves). Then she has at it with a solid forged pick that's more akin to a jemmy bar. No anesthetic, mind. Lots of blood and ice cold saline solution agony later and the offending seed and splinter are out and I'm gratefully oozing claret out of my gob like there's no tomorrow.

Now I can't eat a bloody thing for the next seven days whilst the flesh grows back. I hate Christmas - did I mention that already?

Oh, heh. I heard you guys had pooped on your own doorstep with CJD.

Doesn't surprise me at all. It's not something that was originally caught as such - it's been initated into the feed chain due to the high volume cut-throat business practices farmers employ. Truth to tell American farming methods are no different from British methods and you've been caught out the same way as our farmers were. You'd have thought you'd have learnt from our experience.

What did surprise me is that, unlike in Britain, the original lineage isn't rigorously logged so you've no way of tracing the infected source. I've read that it's suspected to have come from Canada but there's no way of being sure. Could spread like wild fire if it can't be effectively contained.

What was that company thinking of? Knowingly selling a diseased animal for human consumption?
