Unhappy Bad noises...

Hey...

Driving along today on my way home from work and had to make a really quick lane change and break at the same time. I almost missed my turn. Anyway, now every time I turn the wheel even a little left I get a repetitive noise that sounds like the brake is rubbing. The sound goes away at about 30 mph or so and the interval varies with speed. I just replaced wheel bearings 1500 ago and adjustment and alignment are fine. Any ideas guys...help.

Check your front sway bar bushings.

Just check that they're still in one piece and fit tightly in the holders. If there's a problem with them, you'll see it.

Thanks for the help. They don't look too bad...upon further investigation, the intermittent noise changes pitch and eventually goes away when I press the brake. Again only happens when I go left. Could this be a tie rod about to **** itself?

sorry to bring this back up but... I was trying to find the source of the noise today while I was working on the car and discovered that the noise is actually from the left rear wheel area. This would change the list of possibilities. Nothing looks obviously bad but...cv's maybe?
