looking at a previous post (old one)
There's apparently an edition of this American Mag, which has an article on defeating "the s2 cab top, opening when engine is running"

Has anyone got this article and give us the info.

Have e-'d the orginal posters but don't know if they'll get it

I did some searching, and couldn't really find specifically what you're looking for. But I found the following:
Issue #17, Oct. 1989: "944 S2Cabrio: Adult Toy"
Issue #36, Dec. 1992: "Robocab: 968 Cabriolet" (Not 944, but maybe this has what you're looking for)
Issue #79, August, 1998: Car Top Systems.

I only have issue #79, from the list above and by glancing through the article, looks like it's about the 996/986 tops. Do you have an idea what year the article was written?

I actually rang the guy, a Pete Stout who looked it up and coulndt find a specific article.

It passed me onto Jim Pasha, whom I've e-d

I also e-d the ppl who posted the comments on this BBS and am awaiting replies
