Hey, they are definitely a unique look. Did you do them yourself?
It is something to consider when mine need to be refinished.

Although 17 inchers would have higher rotational energy stored up, potentially, I would think by far most of the braking typically is used to stop the forward momentum of the car, not the wheels rotating.

944pete,s white Fuchs look great. Cannot decide if I go for Tifosimans red wheels as the red really stands out, but that is not meant as a criticism. Still wonder what the colour coded wheel would look like on a car with more subdued colour.

Did they ever make a color coded wheel in red?

I know that it was an option on the 930 to have color-coded red Fuchs wheels (as well as yellow, white, etc.). You could also get the 968 clubsport with color-coded red cup wheels.

I'm not certain on the 944 series cars. I'm sure anything could have been had with money, but I haven't seen one in person with factory supplied color-coded red fuchs, phones, ect.

Color-matched Fuchs rock. Especially on white cars. The 944 had an option of black 15 inch Fuchs, gold 15 inch Fuchs, white 15 inch fuchs, or 16 inch Fuchs, which I think came included in the factory sport package.

I have the 16' that came with my car, and they are black. I just noticed the center cap is pealing. What kind of paint do I use to repaint that?

It turned out to be cheaper to by a new center cap.
