any more info on this? i was interested in going to a newer DME also! i noticed that a few small things would have to be changed, but i was not certain about voltage, resistance, and capacitance levels of various sensors that the DME uses to do its job correctly. is the idle stabilizer something that can be swapped out from a later model for it to work correctly?

thanks!

yes, the idle stabilizer i know can be swapped out.the computer "swap" is speculation as i have not tried it personally but have "heard" of others doing it succesfully.

they are cheap enough on ebay, if you don't blow it up in trying the swap, you can resell it on ebay.
